Col’Cacchio to Host HAM Launch
September is Heart Awareness Month (HAM), an entire month dedicated to heart health! HAM is a national awareness campaign co-ordinated by the Heart and Stroke Foundation SA (HSFSA) - its purpose is to create awareness of cardiovascular disease and its prevention.
In order to celebrate the start of HAM Col’Cacchio Pizzeria in the foreshore will be hosting the HAM launch on the 1st of September 2009. “Col’Cacchio is a member of our Heart Mark Restaurant Programme and as a result we’re thrilled to be partnering with them for the launch,” says Pamela Warrington, communications officer at the HSFSA.
The Heart Mark Restaurant Programme is a health promotion tool designed to encourage restaurants to provide healthy food options that are lower in fat, cholesterol, salt and where applicable, high in fibre.
